Is Time Travel Even Possible ?.... How Stephen Hawkin's Dinner Party Is Related To Time Travel | Time Travel Possibility

There will be no human who does not think about the time travel possibility — whether it’s going back in time to correct mistakes, stopping the origin of the worst happenings, building a time machine to see the future, or even ruling the world. Funny and curious at the same time, right?

This curiosity led humankind to explore this idea through stories, comics, movies, philosophy, and most importantly, SCIENCE!!!!!!!

Until the emergence of the relativity theory and Albert Einstein, the man who revolutionised the scientific world… Time is believed to be absolute, flowing uniformly and independently of the observer, but here, Einstein's relativity nullifies this notion and says time is relative, an unbelievable concept, right? Time slows down with speed, and even with gravity; yes, that's called time dilation. So, the question is, is time travel possible?  Time dilation says, yes, only if you move with a speed closest to the speed of light or even half of it, because when an object/observer moves with a speed of light, the time according to it becomes zero!!!!!! If it`s a human or any living thing, even its pulse, breathing, and metabolism slow down, so it cannot feel the slowing down of time until it escapes from the velocity system. Sounds crazy, right!!!

Let`s break it down in a simpler way. Imagine you are a scientist or engineer, one day you built a spaceship that travels at the speed of light (3 x 10^8 m/s) and using it, you decided to revolve 50 times around the Earth, and if you are starting the journey in 2025 at the age of 30, you will land back on Earth at 2075 but still in the age of 30 in a world you didn`t know…in a different era full of a new generation and the scariest part is you can`t go back to 2025!!! But unfortunately, the maximum speed that humankind ever attained is only 39897 km/hr (attained by Apollo 10 during its return from the moon). The time travel to the past is even more complicated, and many theories and paradoxes contradict the possibility of it (it will be discussed in detail in a separate part).

HAWKIN`S DINNER PARTY AND TIME TRAVELLERS

The renowned scientist once hosted a party as a fun experiment. He provided decorative balloons, champagne, and food, but the surprising part is the invitation card with date, time, and even GPS coordinates. 

 The interesting fact is that the invitation wasn`t sent out until the party was over, and he waited for the guests, yes, the time-traveling guests from the future, and he waited for them, and no one arrived, leading him to conclude that time travel to the past is likely not possible.
